1968 Morgan 24 ft. Classic Sloop The outboard shown in the photo is NOT included. Price: $1,500.00 during Winter Stored in Quincy, 10 miles south of Boston, MA. Newish sails, Schafer roller furling, electronics. Rooftop winches, lifelines. Original paperwork, manual, and all receipts. The boat is on land. Its a 1968, in really good shape for its age. The boat yard owner checked the chain plate attachments to the bulkhead and said they are in great shape. The mast is down. The boat has depth finder, knot meter and wind gauges, (NASA). Compass. No motor, but I know someone reliable who sell motors in Boston area. The centerboard cable has some surface rust, but has been coated with pine tar. The centerboard was not removed for inspection, but should be done. The stuffing box was taken off, it is in good condition and only needs repacking. The bottom has been sanded. It is almost ready for painting, would need a touch up sanding. The original cushions are all there. They have be recovered. The floor was replaced by the previous owner at a boat yard in marion. Overall I would say the interior is serviceable, but not gorgeous. There is a bilge pump and two newish batteries. The cabin lights were replaced and are new. The split backstay was replace completely with new turnbuckle. The shrouds themselves are in fine shape, not damaged on the ends, and not fishhooks. You will need at least two new turnbuckles for the shrouds, but I would go with 4. The bow stay is fine. As seen in one photo, the starboard wood toerail could use some work. Trailer is available for additional $1500 as an option, or can be rented until a Spring launch. This dual axle trailer was made in 2001 and has good tires with electric brakes. There is a seven pin connector for lights and brakes. Currently registered. Click pictures for enlargement:
